Do what you love and you’ll never work a day in your life.
I have enjoyed more than 32 years in the graphics arts field. My entire education and training in this field has been on the job.
I am proud to say that I have done everything to do with print/advertising from front door to back. I began with customer relation, was the lead graphic artist and production manager for a small newspaper in northern Colorado and am now, a designer and prepress technician for Integ in downtown Bryan, TX.
When with the newspaper in Colorado, I was responsible for all ad production as well as layout and design of the weekly newspaper. In addition to the newspaper, my responsibilities also included production, ad design and layout for multiple publications including a semi-annual Hunting Guide, annual Summer Recreation Guide, and the Meeker and Rangely Chamber Tourist Guides, among others. I was in charge of maintenance of a subscription-based information website for hunters in or coming to Northwest Colorado [Northwest Colorado Hunting Club]. Along with website maintenance, I was also responsible for shipping merchandise, ordering promo items and correspondence/tech support for the members.
Along with my extensive print and ad production experience, I also offer freelance services for design work, hand lettering (chalk and signs), and home decor on a contract basis.

Although a high school diploma is all that I have obtained pertaining to education, I believe my more than 25 years of on the job experience more than makes up for my lack of a degree in my chosen profession.
